Discussion

Dictionary .com:- 'Kick around' -26.
kick around, Informal.

to treat (someone) harshly or inconsiderately.
This is the most used phrase English people normally use, to denote that somebody is taking advantage of somebody, using them, or 'muck about with' them.
Also, true to the greelk 'μπαλάκι'. After all, what do you do with the ' μπαλάκι'? You either throw it or 'kick it around/about'.

Nick, plaything's good. Why not add it as an answer?
Transphy, "the kick-around of somebody" (i.e. as a noun) would be a really nice alternative, but I can't really say I've stumbled across any examples that actually attest to such a usage of "kick-around".
