I am translating the contract for an executive chauffeur service in which the drivers use their own cars, similar to Uber in the USA. The document is in Spanish but might have been translated from Catalan.
The contract specifies two types of services, "traslados" and "disposiciones". For example:
La asignación del chófer debe de hacerse con antelación de
12 horas: para traslados
24 horas: para disposiciones, tralados de larga distancia y servicios para pasajeros de aviación ejecutiva
I am thinking that a "traslado" is just an ordinary short trip, such as one might take in a taxi, but not sure what is intended by "disposiciones", or how these two terms differ.
Can anyone enlighten me?

It would seem that 'disposicion' suggests having a driver & car with you for a long period of time to take you wherever you want rather than just for one straightforward (return) journey. Placing the driver at your disposal as it were
