Spanish term

restos de fibrosis sin lesiones

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) oncología
Aparece en el diagnóstico oncológico de un paciente como: " 1 ganglio linfático y restos de fibrosis sin lesiones"

¿Sería correcto remains of fibrosis without lesions? No me gusta el verbo delante pero detrás le cambiaría totalmente el sentido a la frase.

Cualquier ayuda será bienvenida.
Gracias,
Esther

residual fibrosis, no lesions Could you be more specific as to the type of diagnostic study performed? If this patient was treated with radiotherapy in the past, he will probably have developed some fibrosis, which may take a long time to clear, if it clears at all. The common expression for this is 'residual fibrosis'.
What I find confusing is the mention of a lymph node, which I would take to be a pathological lymph node (lymph node metastasis), in combination with 'sin lesiones'. No lesions is good news, but lymph node involvement is very bad news indeed.

Can you provide more context?

fibrotic residues without lesions

Suggestion.
I think this eliminates the ambiguity of 'remains'.
