Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): writeaway

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

writeaway Aug 25, 2016:
Context of question (as provided by Asker): Two companies sign an agreement that one company will store and use the property of the other company who remains the owner of the property...?
Adrian MM. (X) Aug 25, 2016:
Context of question- start. middle or end Perchance, instead of discussing substandard, hardback, multilingually diluted legal dictionaries I consigned to my lockup 30 years ago, we should be asking whether the phrase is the title of the agreement, a contract clause or a sign-off.
Michael Beijer Aug 25, 2016:
nah according to the website, yes, but I asked in an email and they said I could get just the annual sub for €169.40, so I did.

info page says it has around 30,000 entries: http://beijer.uk/screenshots/Le-Docte-info-page.jpg (no idea about quality yet)
writeaway Aug 25, 2016:
Were you forced to buy the book too in order to get online access?
Michael Beijer Aug 25, 2016:
I never had the old version but thought I'd try the new one for a year. not a great start
writeaway Aug 25, 2016:
Oh no! So the new version of Le Docte is just as disastrous as the old version. They are so cagey about letting people see it before they buy that it did make me wonder -and hesitate. I rang them and they said I had to drive to Mortsel to have a look at the dictionary
Michael Beijer Aug 25, 2016:
Le Docte found this (rather suspect looking entry) in Le Docte:

akte van eigendomsverklaring
FR: acte (m) déclaratif de propriété
EN: declaratory act of ownership
DE: Eigentumserklärung f

statement of ownership

Ik denk dat statement beter is dan declaration, een bewijsstuk ipv een verklaring. Maar het kan vast allebei.

(contract clause) Representation of Title; (warning) Proprietary Notice

Indeed, it could be a discrete = free-standing Statement of Ownership, but the shorn and shaven question out-of-context leaves open a number of other permutations and combinations for *thinking and reading' translators, pace Writeaway, to consider.
Example sentence:

All Rights Reserved. Proprietary Notice and Liability Disclaimer

Dealer's Representation Of Title & Lien Satisfaction
