Spanish term

ahora que apenas logro ubicarme

Spanish to English Art/Literary Other novel
As with my other query, I don't have a lot of context, as it's just an extract from a novel, but this is the sentence in which it appears.

'Y ahora que ya no estoy sonando y que estoy a punto de morir, ahora que apenas logro ubicarme y que el dolor es más fuerte que el miedo, ahora me atormentan las imágenes.'

Thanks for all help

now that I barely know where I am

Very similar to Francois's - but we wouldn't really use "can" here, and I think "barely" has a more literary feel to it than "hardly".
Peer comment(s):

neutral Francois Boye : 'can' is my way of capturing the verb 'lograr'

agree neilmac : This works, whereas "I hardly can know" doesn't.

Thanks Neil
agree Thomas Walker : I think this works pretty well - we might change our opinion if we had more context, but...

Now that I barely manage to get my bearings

There are several ways you could render this. I suppose much of it comes down to style.
