In the aggregation process we employed a map–reduce approach. First, we processed each
file and linked the IP address to a geographical location using the MaxMind [8] database from
September 2012 and counted the online/offline IP addresses per hour. After this map process
was finished we combined the resultant files to one HDF5 file
