Concerning XXX, in fact I'd rather say : "the XXX Converged HX Series YYY Appliance series".

There's no real problem having 2 'series' — it sounds like this is a series of hardware models that fall within a wider series of a certain type of products.
I would be inclined to translate, say, '[appliance] series' using 'gamme', and reserve 'série' for the other, more global one.
