Ja w sprawie płci... Angielski jest taki wygodny ze swoją bezosobowością a w polskim trzeba się ciagle głowić żeby nasz tekst nie dyskryminował czytelnika pod kątem płci. Dlatego jeśli można sugerowałabym zamiast dosłownego tłumaczenia "you should" użyć formy bezosobowej np "należy" albo "zaleca się" albo "trzeba" itp. Oczywiscie nie znam Twojego tekstu więc to tylko taka luźna uwaga, ale chciałabym zachęcić naszą społeczność do takiej praktyki :) Miłego dnia życzę x

Caveat: There is the concept of short sale = krótka sprzedaż.
However, the proper idiom here is to cut losses short.

„sell short” ma kilka znaczeń, ale tu najprawdopodobniej chodzi o właśnie to znaczenie.
