interior walls of plaster finished with sponge float

I agree with Helena that this is about plastering of walls. I found a few examples of "finished with sponge float"; fewer - but some - of "sponge float finished".
In Spanish, it may be clear that it's walls that are being discussed but I don't think that comes through in English without adding a couple of additional words.
Example sentence:

It can be applied with metal spatula and finished with sponge float.

This might help

I think it refers to the plasterwork on the interior walls. The plaster is applied with a sponge float but I don't know the best way to translate it.

Float

Afloat is glided over the surface of the plaster to fill voids and hollows, to level bumps left by previous operations, and to impart a texture to the surface. The most common types of float are shown in figure 7-14. The wood float has a wood blade 4 to 5 inches wide and about 10 inches long. The angle float has a stainless steel or aluminum blade. The sponge float is faced with foam rubber or plastic, intended to attain a certain surface texture.

Sponge[edit]
The sponge (technically called a float), has a circle form and rough surface. it is fixed to a backing with a central handhold and is roughly the size of a standard trowel. Sponge is a variant texture technique and used normally on ceilings and sometimes in closets. Typically when using a sponge; sand is added to the mix and the technique is called sand-sponge.

Care must be taken not to stand directly under your trowel when doing this as it is very, very unpleasant, and dangerous to get a grain of sand in your eye; which is compounded by the irritation from the lime as well. This combination can easily scratch the eye.
