Discussion

Barbara L Pavlik (asker) Sep 9, 2015:
I can see now that the term should have been ausgefahrener Schaltwagen. Thnaks to everyone for your input.
Herbie Sep 3, 2015:
OK, Richard I just got this impression. By the way, I worked in the past with Calor Emag / ABB and Moeller and earned quite a lot of experience with the draw-out technique in both HV and LV. ABB used rolling, and Moeller (now Eaton) sliding.
Richard Stephen Sep 3, 2015:
@ Herbi I simply wanted to point out that, in addition to trolley, with which I agree, the words 'draw out' also seem important to me and pointed out that Bernd had already suggested this, so that I could not be accused of plagerism. I certainly had no intention of accusing you of plagerism.
philgoddard Sep 2, 2015:
This is obviously a popular text and/or a difficult word, because we've previously had the same paragraph into both Italian and Czech.
Bernd Runge Sep 2, 2015:
... draw-out switchgear scheint häufig Verwendung zu finden ...

Peer comment(s):

neutral Richard Stephen : Your reference lists "DRAW-OUT trolley" which corresponds to Bernd's suggestion in the Discussion Section. However the reference document is a (poor) translation, obviously not done by a native speaker, so don't know how reliable.

Bernd does not mention my suggested "trolley" - I'm not a plagiarist. Anyway, there are 2 main options of the draw-out technique: sliding & rolling. The latter uses trolleys.
