English to Russian Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)

English law permits a party to a contract to obtain a declaratory judgment as to the satisfaction or non-satisfaction of interim conditions to the parties’ ultimate rights and obligations under the contract, even though such rights and obligations have not yet matured and final performance is not yet due. In this way, parties can resolve disputes regarding the satisfaction of conditions while the relevant events or circumstances are still relatively current and can resolve uncertainty regarding obligations of ultimate performance without unnecessary delay to the end of the contract.
