French term

tenue au flambage

French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial traverse de planche de bo
Hi,

I thought this was "singeing" at first, but now I'm not sure whether it is "buckling", I would appreciate any insight on this. This is a patent. Subject: producing a crossmember for a vehicle dashboard.

Thank you

resistance to buckling

flambage = buckling, or lateral flexion.
Note from asker:
Thanks, the first thing I thought of was "resistance to flames" :/

Thanks. However, your ref. is, when correctly parsed, "buckling/ of/ flat sandwich panels"!
