Russian to English Bus/Financial Accounting Audit
This sentence is repeated over and over again in a financial audit spanning a decade. The only thing that changes is the date. It is part of a huge table with the results of the audit. Any help would be appreciated from specialists in accounting.

value date Agree with Misha. I don't understand it as "дата валютирования". In my mind these are different things.

Ms. Garkusha, apparently, you are right here, and I am wrong, and let me be the first to admit it. Googling this term does indeed a miracle make. However, this is still not a term you would commonly come across in the US. In a trading sense, this "value date" is a maturity or settlement date for an American, and in banking you generally talk about the date the funds become (fully) available as opposed to the date they are "posted" to the account. That said, I do realize the world as a whole is somewhat larger than the United States alone. Once again, congratulations on you superior googling skills.

neutral The Misha : There is no such thing in standard English acctg/financial terminology as "value date". Perhaps valuation date, but the activities or dates described in that Wikipedia article cannot possibly be translated into EN as valuation dates.

Please do some googling. There are a lot of explanations of this term. Wiki is not a sole credible source.
