入検

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks Automotive
Hi,

Please tell me what does 入検 in the the context of 品証入検で代用. Is the work a jukugo? Translates as Substitute with quality assurance ....... . It appears as an independent item in the table I am translating .Pertains to powertrain.

Receiving inspection

It is receiving inspection for items / goods. Some times certain properties are checked per each item or each lot at clients premises, as per contract; then only the lot / goods are accepted.
Similarly [sukkakensa] means dispatch inspection - these are the list of properties to be checked by supplier per each item or each lot and certificate with the results is sent to the client along with the goods, normally it is a part of supply contract.
Note from asker:
Thank you so much sir! I understood both the contexts of usage well!

incoming inspection

入検=受入検査

Yes other words such as receiving or inspection could be used for this, but in my experience this was usually called "incoming inspection", referring to the inspection by the Quality Department performed when goods were received into the shipping area, such as component parts to be used in manufacturing at a plant.
