Hello fellow translators,

I hope you are able to help me out with this term "Compartimiento de depósito". I'm translating a technical standard intended for manufacturers from Spanish into English (US).

So it reads as follows:

Esta norma técnica definirá los requisitos de calidad para refrigeradores y sus compartimientos:

- Compartimiento de almacenamiento de alimentos frescos
- Compartimiento de almacenamiento de alimentos congelados
- Compartimiento de enfriamiento
- Compartimiento de baja temperatura
- Compartimiento para fabricación de hielo
- Compartimiento de depósito

I've found some technical standards in English and I've been able to determine the translation of all the above except for "Compartimiento de depósito":

This technical standard will define the quality requirements for refrigerators and their compartments:

- Fresh food storage compartment
- Frozen food storage compartment
- Cooling compartment
- Low-temperature compartment
- Ice production compartment
- "Compartimiento de depósito"

I initially thought of translating it as "Storage compartment" but that would clearly cause confusion to the reader; another option I've thought of is "Tank compartment" but I'm not quite sure as I have been unable to find such compartment in English documents relating to refrigerators; I must say I have also been unable to find what a "Compartimiento de depósito" is in any Spanish documents as well; it seems they call it like this in this document only and they never explain what it is exactly.
