Spanish term

Ostra gallega rugosa

Spanish to English Other Cooking / Culinary shellfish
On a menu there's a section with different oysters available. One of the types of oysters is:

"Gallega rugosa"

I can find references to oysters having "rugosa/rough" shells but I don't know how to translate this for the menu. Is it simply rough-shelled oyster or something?

Thanks

Curly Galician oyster

I found "curly oyster" online and it sounds more amusing than other options I've considered so far...
"Olympia oyster, Sydney rock oyster, Indian rock oyster; Bombay oyster; curly oyster, Red Sea oyster, Black-bordered..."
