This team not only implemented the SAP Basis component, but also the R/3 Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules as well as the mySAP Utilities Waste Management industry solution. The framework agreement concluded by SRD stipulated that Release 4.6.1 was to be used for the go-live. This meant that an interim solution had to be developed for creating charge assessment notices for household garbage collection and disposal since *contract accounting functionality* was not available at that point in time. The typical master data and transaction data required for the waste management sector (contract partners, partner functions, connection objects, premises, device locations, for example) were defined and mapped in mySAP Utilities Waste Management.
Die Implementierung von SAP R/3 führte eine aus sieben Personen bestehende Kernmannschaft durch. Neben der Basiskomponente umfasste die Implementierung die R/3-Module Finanzbuchhaltung (FIBU), Controlling (CO) und Vertrieb (SD) sowie das branchenspezifische Lösungspaket mySAP Utilities Waste Management. Rahmenvertragliche Vereinbarungen der SRD erforderten eine Produktivsetzung mit dem Release 4.6.1. Dadurch musste eine temporäre Zwischenlösung für die Erstellung der Gebührenbescheide der Hausmüllentsorgung entwickelt werden, da das *Vertragskontokorrent* zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht verfügbar war.
