Certificado de Participacion Ordinario

These are knowns as CPOs in the market. They are used in Mexico to enable foreign investor to purchase restricted shares. Typically only Mexican nationals can own A shares in the local market so CPOs are created so that anyone can purchase them. The biggest difference between the CPO and the A share is the CPO doesn't have voting rights.
