Spanish term

pero si la incumple dará lugar a cuantas responsabilidades

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Confidentiality agreement
I'm a bit confused about the use of 'pero si' here. Going into British English.

(full stop) + Failure to do so it shall result in liability

I would divide the sentence.

(full stop) + Failure to do so it shall result in liability that may result/ stem from/etc ...

The key word is "Comunicación"
That "notification" doesn´t exempt from responsability but... failure to notify (do so) shall result in liability...

For clarity's sake:
If they notify they may face liability but if they DON'T notify they may face that liability aforementioned plus the liability resulting of the lack of notification.

Hope is more clear now
Note from asker:
Thanks, Javier, but failure to do what exactly? The sentence is confusing beacuse it says that the party is not exempt from responsibility... "but if/yes"?????
Yes, clearer now, thanks Javier!

(instead/however/etc) the non-conforming Party will be held fully responsible

I believe "la incumple" is referring to the the Party "la Parte" which has not performed it's obligation (no exime a la Parte que haya incumplido el presente compromiso)

and "cuantas responsabilidades se deriven de dicha omisión" basically means held fully responsible/accountable (as many responsibilities as derive from the said omission)

"this communication will not exempt the Party which fails to comply ... from responsibility, instead the non-conforming Party will be held fully responsible..."
