A gipszkarton tábla belső oldalon történő ragasztása során a ragasztót nem teljes felületen, hanem csak pontszerűen helyezik a kartontáblára. Kellően érthető az alábbi fordítás a "gipszpogácsa" kifejezésre: "adhesive applied by trowel".
