I am only asking about the word 'award' because I need a specific translation of this word in the following context:

"This letter serves as a confirmation that qualifies you, Mr X, to claim x (dollars) Cash or the Award that is waiting shipment to you now!"

"We ensure secure delivery of your cash prize or award at the following address ...."

The translations I would like to avoid are these: "premier prix", "prix d'excellence" "prix" "lauréat" "as I feel that all of these terms are inappropriate in the context. Not too sure about "Récompense" as it is not really a reward, but an award!

Cette lettre sert de confirmation qui vous donne le droit, Mr X, de réclamer la prix en argent d'un montant de ... ou le ??? que nous sommes prêts à vous expédier.

I don't think saying "prix en espèces et prix" works and it cannot be a 'lauréat" as it is being sent via the postal service. So it is in fact some object I assume. Maybe I could use the expression 'prix en nature', but that also does not sound right to me.
