The context is a paper on age-related disability, and "OR" stands for odds ratio:
"Edad y sexo mantienen la fuerza de las asociaciones que tenían en los modelos anteriores: edad tiene un OR de 1,21 para su valor centrado, y un OR de 0,997 para su *valor centrado al cuadrado*. "
I'm not sure if this is the same as "root mean square" (valor medio al cuadrado)
