Another suggestion would be "lidhje/imazh i dëmtuar'' as "dëmtuar" would be more literal translation of "broken" but according to the explanation of the asker this message appears for link/images that are no longer valid and not in the general context of the term "broken" as used in IT (as a connection that does not work properly or an image that cannot be opened/saved etc.)
I suggest the adjective ''i papërdorshëm'' (unusable etc.) as a more general term that does not imply any specific reason wh the link or image cannot be used.
