Quand il est question de répartir des sommes entre différentes périodes comptables, ou entre différents sous postes, on parle d'attribuer des sommes.

Sens de "attributable" ici: "imputable à". Les coûts sont imputables à telle ou telle opération effectuée durant l'année financière, pas à l'année elle-même. Un total est fait et on dira : les coûts enregistrés durant telle année.

Dans les manuels de la logique élémentaire: une année n'est pas une personne à la quelle on peut attribuer quoi que ce soit. Ceci pour le sens premier du mot. Pour le sens utilisé ici, lire plus haut.
