For a marine survey re data found, pls see below thanks
These data were generally laterally homogeneous with horizons relating to sands and silts.
The detachment block feature was evident within the pinger data.
From an environmental perspective the most important region is the top few cm of sediment which interfaces with the water, as most life is found within this aerobic layer to around a decimetre.
Particle size analysis performed on the upper few cm of sediments showed a Wentworth classification of sandy SILT (see next section).
This layer is estimated to be up to 0.5m in thickness and is sub-cropped by predominantly carbonate SAND, sandy carbonate SILT and silty carbonate SAND to a depth range of approximately 10m – 14m, underlined by probable firm CLAY.
The sub-cropped data was interpreted from the sub – bottom profiler output.
No geological features which may relate to the migration of deeper thermogenic materials from the lower geology to the surface, often associated with isolated and sometimes unique biogenic habitats at the surface, were recorded within the survey area surrounding the proposed well locations.
