German term

auf Unternehmens- wie Agenturseite

German to English Bus/Financial Advertising / Public Relations Introduction

Discussion

Edith Kelly (asker) Dec 12, 2013:

with many years of both in-house and agency experience

if you take out the "Seite"
Peer comment(s):

agree Eleanore Strauss : spot on! in-house could be replaced by corporate

neutral philgoddard : In-house doesn't work in my opinion - it doesn't make clear what kind of company. The same applies to "corporate".

Here's the full sentence:

"Accomplished marketing professionals with years of experience from both brands and agencies."
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Not "companies", though. "Brand company" and "agency company" are tautologies. You could say "brand and agency experience".

I meant to say “from both brands and agencies" (forgetting to add the plural–s- in “brands”). The author of my source made that same unintentional mistake and I copied it. Brands means companies with (strong) brands to sell.
