Arabic term

زمطنا من شعرة

Arabic to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature chapter from a Lebanese n
. ولا أنسى ما قاله لي يومها: إذا انصبتْ أنا مش مهم، المهم إنتِ وحياتك وقيمتك وعدم الفضيحة. زمطنا من شعرة. والله بحبّنا وروحي صلّي.

I know what the expression means. Something like "it was a miracle that we survived", right? But I'm not sure how to render it in English. Thanks!

Ok, it is like saying "You were so lucky to escape the punishment of sth" in a miraculous way.
The word "زمطنا" , in Lebanes dilect, means: We have escaped

Note from asker:
I'm not sure. Some of the responses I got on another forum in Arabic are as follows: أعتقد انها تعطي معنى نجا من شيء بأعجوبة تقريبا زي المثل المصري طلع منها زي الشعرة من العجينة أن الشخص المعني كان في أزمه أو مشكله صعبه للغايه و لكن و بالصدفة أستطاع بمساعده حيله بسيطه جداً التخلص من المشكلة
