Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing textiles
Another textile term.

織り目付けがより少なく口締まりがよい。

Something about the opening seal being tighter because there is less ?stitching gaps?

Interesting Thanks for sharing. So I suppose being less coarse, i.e. finer, the opening was able to close more tightly.

I think in this context 織り目付け refers to a comparatively lower number of stitches being better.

A Google search of your sentence brought up this:

「口紐を締める際は織り目付けがより少なく口締まりがよい」

The preceding context makes a lot of difference, and leads me to believe that this should actually be 折り目, not 織り目. Basically, it is saying that when you pull the cord to close the opening of the bag, there are less folds, which means that it can close more fully. I only read the one sentence, so you'll have to judge from your context whether a similar wording may fit better.
