Italian term

trasversali

Italian to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations
This terms appears many times in Kudoz, but nothing seems to fit in this context.

Architetto e progettista che da molti anni affianca aziende del design e dell’arredo made in Italy... Un’ esperienza e una sensibilità trasversali che hanno
contribuito a catalizzare aziende così prestigiose dando vita
a un’idea unica e vincente.

Thanks!

Lara Barnett Jan 16, 2013:
sensibilità I don't think the literal translation works here.
The adjective has to suit both; "experienza" and "sensibilità", I think "wide ranging" could go, I suppose. To be honest, I think the word for describing the architect's sensibility would be "heightened", a "heightened sensibility", and then you could use another adjective to describe his experience; like for example "wide, extensive, vast, broad".

Ask me... I'm an architect.

integrated yet another option! (again, try a google search for the architects who use this adj when describing their firms/services)

broad horizons, multidisciplinary, etc. This is what comes to my mind

wide-ranging

perhaps?
Note from asker:
Thanks, Oliver. This did come to mind, but I'm not sure how well it goes with "sensibilità"

interdisciplinary

I also considered "cross-disciplinary" but I think this is better

Your text describes people with different skills, working together.

wide ranging

This is one option. It's not entirely clear what is meant but I'd say its something to do with wide ranging experience...

cross-sector(al)

Maybe "cross-sector(al) outlook" would go.

It seems like the inter/cross/multi side of this phrase is referring to the knowledge acquired by working within such a diversity of areas in the design and decor (or furnishing) sectors.
