English term

threading

English to Portuguese Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
This is from a manual for a wire rolling machine - one of the operation modes:

"In the threading mode, when the first block jog selector is turned, only the first block operates. When the second block selector is turned, the first and second blocks operate. When the third block selector is turned, all the blocks operate."

Thanks for the help!

LOL, yes that is what I meant too. Thank for the help! And Merry Christmas, Nick Taylor!
Nick Taylor Dec 8, 2012:
whoops! not "treading" but "threading" like a shoe lace or needle
Zornitsa Antonova (asker) Dec 8, 2012:
The text I am dealing with, although with lack of details, shows that it is not about screw threads as it si about wires, I agree Nick Taylor, however I am not sure there is spelling mistake. May be "enfiamento" is more correct really.
Nick Taylor Dec 8, 2012:
Screw threads I am quite sure it has nothing to do with screw threads but with "treading" the wire through the said blocks.
