Portuguese term

Oitava

Portuguese to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation Gymnastics
Dear Colleagues,

I am translating a course summary of a graduate degree program in physical education. This particular course deals with gymnastics. Under the subheading "Habilidades Nas Barras" there is the following numbered list of items:

01. Adaptação às barras
02. Oitava
03. Saídas básicas

What is an oitava in this context? I've seen the move on youtube.com videos, but what is this called in US English?

Many thanks in advance!

Douglas
