How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Следует учесть, что Tour operating - вариант, предложенный выше, используется в качестве не самостоятельного существительного, а лишь как прилагательное в словосочетании tour operating industry. Назвать это существительным, приемлемым для названия учебной дисциплины, можно, ИМХО, лишь с большой натяжкой...

: To the UK ear at least, tour development wouldn't IMHO be clearly understood.//I'd understand the difference to be that operating is about the industry as a whole (i.e. non specific) whereas operations would be about specific businesses. Just my reading.

then, the UK ear should at least catch the difference between "operating" and "operations"/ Google does not seem to have adopted "tour(-)operating" outside of "tour-operating industry", at least in US context
