I'm thinking this is equivalent to the English "no repeats", as in it's just one course of the medicine? Just a stab in the dark though (I asked a couple of Japanese friends who weren't sure what the meaning is either)

This is not my area of specialty, so take this with a grain of salt, but looking at the PDF reference this seems pretty clear. In the first example of a prescription, the total amount of pills/capsules/etc. for the day is given. In this case, the 分# means that this total should be divided into # portions. In your example, both 分1 and 1日1回 are used, which are effectively the same. I would translate your example as something like "once daily, after breakfast". If you also had the number of caps/tabs/pills you could say "# pills, once daily after breakfast".

The meaning is literally 'divided into one dose', and hence means 'once a day'. 分2 is 'divided into two doses', i.e. two doses a day.

: Japanese tend to give how much you need in a day then tell you how you shoud devide it into, rather than give numbers for a single dose then tell how much you should give that in a day.
