El CSP-12 1kV tiene conexión RS485 (A, B). Y además necesita una fuente de alimentación de 5mA de media y 70mA pico de 8 a 30V, por cada cuadro.

Does this mean "rated" here?

Your instincts are correct. A circuit can be described in terms of its rated or nominal current (which is the current it can handle on a continuous basis, hence "average" but that's not the proper technical term), and its peak current.

Se trata de la potencia de la corriente eléctrica que entra y sale a través del "bus" de este equipo. Así que la potencia puede ser mediana o máxima.
