Always, this package is a small program that may possible the communication of different digital devices (computers, printers, storage disk, telecommunications routers) through an Ethernet network.
The Ethernet network is a classic network that links node networks (devices) through cable that originally was developed by Xerox and implemented by 3Com and others.
Ethernet requires a special cable and special connectors. The connectors are the physical components of the networks that plug in the devices that work together through the network.
But the physical connections are not enough to make the communication possible. The devices need also a software program with the capability to understand the digital messages that come through the network.

Always you have to write Ethernet with capital letter. It is a registered name and in Spanish we write as proper name. A association of companies manages all that is related with Ethernet networks. There are Ethernet networks with different speed and also different technical specifications. Everybody who wants to manufacture machines with Ethernet connection has to follow the technical specifications.

The expression “Ethernet drive package 3.84 driver download”… shows very clear that the driver is a package or program that you have to download from Internet or a CD to your computer. After that you have to install to manage (manejador, controlador), your Ethernet connection. DAT
