Persian (Farsi) term

سوسمن نظارتي

Persian (Farsi) to English Other Other
Dear Colleagues,

There is a shop is Egypt called
سوسمن نظارتي

The name of the shop is written on the Dial of an antique watch. Is this term Iranian or Ottoman or Turkish?
Is there any historical background to this term?

Your help in this respect will be so much appreciated.

Million thanks in advance.

Not Persian (Farsi) I agree with Sareh, as the name doesn't seem to be Iranian (at least it's not a popular Iranian name). It may be Ottoman or Turkish.
Good luck in finding out the answer!

Not Persian

The term is not Persian, and considering the fact that it is written on an antique dial in Egypt, I guess it is Ottoman Turkish, as you already suggested. Someone familiar with the language might be of help here, but perhaps trying something like "susmen nezareti" in a Turkish Kudoz will be more promising :)
