I am translating a Validation Report describing the different areas of a beverage bottling sytem that are sampled/tested for bacteria.
The heading for this section is: TAPADORA y MANEJO DE TAPAS
FROTIS :
1. Tolva almacenamiento tapas
2. Transportadores (de elevación y de descarga a inmersión)
3. Tolva de inmersión con dióxido
4. Empuje de tapas a la *peche*
FROTIS SUPERFICIES:
1. Placas de transferencia de envasadora a tapadora

I think it comes from gallego, where "peche" means closure, and I have also come across the term "peche hermético" when they are talking about a hermetic i.e. airtight seal, see this page on valves.
In the specific area of bottling, however, I do not know exactly how it is used.
