I would think this should be "burning in" rather than "in wear".
ie wear due to the 'burning in' process when the engine is first started up.
Note that this should presumably be 'English -> Japanese' not 'Japanese -> English'

「弁棒および弁ディスクのバーニングイン摩耗」seems reasonable, although I don't know if such a term as 「バーニングイン摩耗」actually exists. Google doesn't come up with any hits.
