I should call it a box Microsoft tends to call this a file dialogue box where you select open and save files. Or maybe "panel" sounds more elegant. My guess is that your Italian client will want "environment". Last time I found myself in this situation, I couldn't access the programme because the programmer was still writing it :). I told her that she should do the translation as she wrote the programme.

Si tratta di un software che gestisce rassegne stampa, e non c'è molto contesto dal momento che si tratta del titolo di una sezione del software, ed è posta prima di un'immagine.
L'unica frase che c'è scritta è questa:
"Una volta completata la fase di autenticazione si arriva all'ambiente di consultazione, questo ambiente è composto da una schermata simile alla seguente figura:"
La figura in questione illustra i file caricati nel sistema, cioè gli articoli raccolti, il titolo, gli allegati etc.

What is the 'informazioni'? [i.e. 'le informazioni riguardo i file caricati nel sistema'] Is it technical information (e.g. about file types/sizes/authors) or business information, e.g. a summary of the content, the customer to which it relates, order number, etc. Some information systems have summary screens (containing a line-by-line digest of the records held) and detail screens (with the full detail of an individual record). It's not clear what you're talking about. As Jim says, more context, please.

More context please Per software gestionale si intende software per gestire un'azienda? Su che sistema operativo funziona? What operating system does it run on? You can find all the information on all files that you need in Windows in Windows Explorer. Just right click and select properties.
