PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA TOMA DE MUESTRAS DE SUELO IMPREGNADAS CON HIDROCARBUROS DE LAS *CANCHAS* DE
VOLATILIZACIÓN.

Procedimiento de muestreo
• El asistente de la *cancha* de residuos debe de identificar el montículo de tierra
contaminada con hidrocarburos a muestrear.
• Luego se debe dividir imaginariamente el montículo de tierra en cuatro partes iguales
señalando las divisiones con un cordel haciendo una señal sobre la tierra.
Seguidamente haciendo uso de la pala se debe tomar una porción de suelo de
cada parte dividida de aproximadamente ½ Kilogramo, a 20 CM DE PROFUNDIDAD.
• Se debe colocar las porciones de suelo en un balde o plástico para mezclarlas con la
ayuda del cucharón de acero o con la palana y con el movimiento del balde hasta que
quede una mezcla homogénea y no se distinga ya ninguna fracción de las porciones
de suelo tomadas.
• Luego de mezclar la tierra se debe tomar de esta aproximadamente 01 Kilogramo;
este kilogramo es la muestra a enviar al laboratorio.
• Se debe colocar la muestra en una bolsa limpia de plástico y etiquetarla con el código
asignado, fecha, hora de muestreo y procedencia de la muestra registrando dichos
datos la libreta de campo.

Unless of course, there is an actual technical term for it when volatization is involved.

If this is a Latin American text, then "cancha" is likely to come from the Quechua "kancha" - recinto, patio, espacio cercado. I.e. an (enclosed) flat area such as the market place (cancha) in Cochabamba. therefore, "areas" is likely to be the best translation in this case
