visual stamp Explanation: From this chart I presume tampon means literally the "visual stamp" of the company on each page. i.e. stamp as to characterize, brand, distinguish, classify, mark out, set apart, single out. |

(rubber) stamp Explanation: Lots of websites use a sort of 'rubber stamp' effect superimposed on their basic graphics, for example, to say things like 'This week's spoecial!' 'One day only!', or as I just had on Cdiscount 'Ce produit est épuisé'. In the absence of fuller context, I feel pretty sure it has to be something along these lines — and I did have the term in just this sort of context only a few weeks back. |

insert Explanation: If this is a printout or file showing how they want the website laid out e.g. .. with some examples of inserts. "GhostMachine Designs is a graphics-based design company that offers ... Here at GhostMachine Designs we also offer help with branding and logo ... is going to depend on the amount of inserts/panels and amount of art provided. ... " www.facebook.com/pages/Luna-Strega/367506355630 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2012-01-30 18:15:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Apex Graphics is a leading supplier of inserts, onserts and outserts to the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food-processing industries." http://www.apexgraphics.net/ At least, they assert that they are. Sorry, but couldn't resist that. |

buffer Explanation: It sounds like it's "buffer". You can have buffer articles and buffer feeds, etc. See http://bufferapp.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_buffer -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day17 mins (2012-01-31 08:14:33 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- More links: http://php.net/manual/en/function.ob-get-clean.php http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/pwg... http://www.socialmediaexplorer.com/social-media-marketing/bu... http://www.ideablade.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2538&titl... This really sounds like buffered content to me. |
