Mislim da je "nagorina" rezultat blagog sagorevanja, nagorevanja, ne znam koja bi druga reč bila odgovarajuća a to je upravo "scorch" na engleskom u ovom kontekstu.

Ne piše "blago nagorevanje" već "blago sagorevanje", tj. delimično sagorevanje = "nagorevanje" = scorch, ne sagoreva sve. Definicija "slight (a ne "light") burn" je upravo to, delimično sagorevanje, nagorevanje.

Burn-in is a common term in the electronics industry and is the holding of an electrical device at an elevated temperature for a specified number of hours, generally with bias and an electrical load applied.
