Open prison I am sure it's neither parole, namely an early release on licence which may be revoked, nor a (UK) conditional discharge at the trial stage nor a (Can.) conditional release, but (US) furlough - albeit the asker is in the UK and wants British English - or (GB) an open-prison arrangement where the offender is allowed out at nights and weekends. Perhaps Allegro can now confirm instead of shooting across the bows!
