Hier "Portalfixierung"/"Stubfixierung"
The client has used "fixing" in his screenshots, however I cannot find any source confirming this use of the word, and it just doesn't "sound" right.
Personally I think "arrest" would be better - but cannot find any confirmation for this either.
Does anybody have any profound knowledge regarding smelting/remelting plants?
Here are a couple of context quotes:
Die Portalfixierung wird benötigt um das Portal in Position zu halten da die Räder an den Portalen keine Bremsen besitzen.
Mit der Stubfixierung wird der Stub geklemmt damit die Elektrode beim Verfahren in eine andere Position nicht zu pendeln beginnt.

I don't think that Fixierung is a foundry-specific term. To be honest, I would probably use portal/gantry locator and stub clamp and rephrase the remainder accordingly ...
