I am looking for the meaning of NN as it pertains to OWC (oil-water contact).
I know that it can mean Normal Null or is used in m NN, but please let me if it stands for something else in this context. This is taken from a graph whose other headings are drill hole, drill year, OWC (m ahd), OWC (no other information provided) and comments regarding clay content. etc.

and if it is meant for values "above", the appropriate abbreviation would be AMSL = above mean sea level: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Above_mean_sea_level
