French term

pp

French to English Bus/Financial Accounting Abbreviation, Belgian payroll accounting
Firstly, there is no running text here. This abbreviation occurs in three contexts, namely "disp. pp. red. cout", "pp travailleurs" and "red. compl. de pp".

I do not have further context.
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

Astrid Elke Witte (asker) Oct 5, 2011:
Description of document: see heading Belgian payroll list - not an individual person's pay slip, but a company's list of what all its employees together cost it in a particular year, e.g. what, collectively, a public holiday cost it. All I am translating is the heavily abbreviated column giving the text next to the figures.
AllegroTrans Oct 4, 2011:
Further context would be the text before and after these lines and what appears next to them (an amount? a comment? a photo?). Further context would also be a short description of what your document is (a set of accounts? a letter? a report?)

agree Jennifer Levey : Yes - and if the translation is for the UK: "PAYE" (pay as you earn)
