However, I think that "barra de ferro/aço" covers it in so far as possíble. It means "iron/steel rod". You should probably choose just one of the terms.

: Ferro fundido é um ferro quebradiço que não pode ser trabalhado. Muitas polias são fabricadas em ferro fundido, mas então não seria "steel rod iron", seria "cast iron".
