Segue o contexto completo do slide do Power Point onde aparece o termo "higher ward". Infelizmente não há mais informações sobre o assunto.

– A little drain
􀁏 POSSIBLE CAUSE
– Small radial clearance between seal ring and shaft
– Deposit or scale accumulation on bore of seal ring
– A little vent gas flow from seal oil trap
– Large seal oil flow through outer seal ring

CHECK & HANDLING ITEMS DURING OPERATION

􀁏 Check orifice condition of the vent line from seal oil trap, and enlarge the orifice diameter, if required
􀁏 Adjust seal oil supply temperature to higher ward
