Spanish term

canales de union/hidrovias/red caminera/

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
I'm translating a map of South American hydroelectric power. These are the key terms in the legend. My google searches have not turned up anything I can work with. Does anyone have more experience in this area or know of a reference text? Any suggestions are very appreciated. Gracias de antemano.

Not Common It is not common at all to have single entry for a set of related terms; it is a practice that is discouraged. Moreover, it is unwise to assume an asker has provided all the CONTEXT there is, many either neglect or even refuse (yes, refuse) to provide it.

What is requested is not for our good, it is for yours so you can get a good answer. No one here has any obligation to help.

If you look in the proz dictionary you see that it is common to have single entry for a set of related terms. I was following this practice as it seems common and widespread.

As for more context, as I stated in the original post, these are the legend terms for a map. As such, they are given without context. If there was more context, I would have provided it.

Henry is right. They should be separate entries. You may wish to rethink and repost!

Just some ideas, but without the "original" text and further context it is hard to say definitively. If you want good answers, context is vital.
