¿Es posible que este "glitting" se refiera al "smoothed"? Es decir, ¿que sea una posición de alisamiento?

A ver, he recibido esto: "This position is calculated by deducting this parameter from the film length entered for parameter P101. The result of this calculation is the first stop position for the suction boxes. The suction boxes remain in this position until the opening system has been placed around the film. The suction boxes then move to their final stop position at the end of the film. By moving from the first stop position to the second stop position at the same time as the suction function is activated, the film is thus smoothed before it is opened."
